ICT DEPARTMENT
The department supports KNDI processes with the Information, Communication and Technology Department facilitates communication technologies, including wireless/wired networks, computers, software, video-conferencing, social networking, emailing lists, short message service texts (sms) lists and other media applications and services enabling the council, the secretariat, the professionals and stakeholders to access, retrieve, store, transmit, and manipulate digital information for regulation in training, licensing, registration, accreditation and other best practices in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics in Kenya.
Quality Objectives for Financial Year 2021/2022
The Information, Communication and Technology Department has the following objectives in accordance to the 2020-2025 KNDI STRATEGIC PLAN:

To upgrade 4 communication strategies including bulk short message service texts (sms), emails, video conferencing and voice calls by the end of the 2021-2022 financial year (30th June, 2022)

To develop 2 new systems for the Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics and Finance & Accounting by the end of the 2021-2022 financial year (30th June, 2022)

To develop a manual with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on assessment, configuring and maintenance of computers, computer networks and support devices by the end of the 2021-2022 financial year (30th June, 2022)
