ALL NOTICES AND INSTRUCTIONS IN READINESS FOR THE KNDI LICENSING PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATIONS WILL BE POSTED BELOW
1.0 Mode of Exam Administration
The KNDI licensing professional examinations will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that will be administered remotely using an internet-connected device from anywhere in the world.
We shall use the KNDI Online service portal to manage the exams.

2.0 Exam Preparation
All approved applicants for the licensing professional examinations;
- MUST have created a KNDI user account for accessing updates on all examination’s procedures.
- Shall sit for the examinations they have been cleared/approved to sit for;
Certificate level applicants shall sit for one paper that is the Nutrition and Dietetics Technician Professional Examinations
Diploma level applicants shall sit for two papers;
- Paper 1: General paper in nutrition and dietetics for both specialties (Dietetics or Nutrition)
- Paper 2: Specialized as per the chosen area (Dietetics or Nutrition) for each applicant
Degree level applicants shall sit for two papers;
- Paper 1: General paper in nutrition and dietetics
- Paper 2: Specialized as per the chosen area for internship/oral examination
3.0 Exam Preparation Resources
Before you sit for your professional licensing exam, it is up to you to study and refresh your nutrition and dietetic knowledge and make sure you understand what we expect of nutritionists and dietitians who practice in Kenya.
The exam can cover any area of nutrition and dietetics practice as outlined in the KNDI core curriculum covered during your academic training at certificate, diploma and degree level.

5.0 OUTCOME FOR THE LICENSING PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATIONS
You need to pass licensing professional exams in order for you to proceed to the last and final step; application for certification and licensure.
